Take a look at the lodging listed on the Swarthmore College web site at
http://www.swarthmore.edu/visitors/lodging_guide.html . The closest of the hotels
listed is the McIntosh Inn in Media.

Coming from the West by car you will get off the PA Turnpike at the Valley
Forge exit, take I-76 south to I476. The Radnor Hotel is just off the first
exit south on I-476 and only about 10 minutes north of the College. This is
also convenient to Haverford College Quaker Collection, which has some
additional resources that are worth pursuing, particularly their card index to Quaker
publications.
