The death date and place below for Charles M. Jenkins are incorrect.
He died in Richmond, Ind., May 12, 1929, and is buried in the Earlham
Cemetery with his three wives. They were:

1), Anna E. Estell, born 1860, died May 6, 1890, married in Wayne
Co., Ind., July 17, 1879.
2) Ellen Winder Dickinson, born Wayne Co., Ind., 2-27-1868, died in
Richmond, Ind., 5-10-1897, daughter of James H. and Mary Jane
(Winder) Dickinson. I don't find the date of their marriage.
3) Bertha Lillian Thornburg, born in Wayne Co., Ind., 7-15-1879, died
in Richmond, Ind., 12-24-1965, daughter of John M. and Sarah (Foland)
Thornburg, married in Wayne County, 6-17-1908. They had three
daughters. The oldest, Elizabeth, donated the collection of Jenkins
papers that we have here at Earlham. It includes a photograph of
Robert Jenkins (1794-1866).

The Charles M. Jenkins who died in Clinton County, Ohio, must be a
different man.
