I am desperately seeking information on my Horn family line and posted a
query on October 21 on this board. My Horn "brick wall" is Nathaniel who I
have only found references to being in Chester Co. Pa. in 1753 in tax rolls,
then the following year, 1754 married Mary Sinclair, daughter of a Quaker
Family. They apparently were not married in a Quaker ceremony as she was
alledgedly disowned. But they moved to Guildford Co., N.C. where they were
members of the "New Garden" MM and raised their children as Quakers.
However, I cannot find anything on Nathaniel Horn's origin or family. Maybe
your Joseph was a child of a sibling of Nathaniel? I haven't received any
reply from my query, but possibly now that there are two queries, someone
