Hi,
I'm the researcher on the Hooker family who I thought was possibly a Quaker. I'm still hoping to find him.

Thank you Joyce, Jerry and Janet for your thoughts on my Hookers.

Janet, you have given me new hope. Some of the names that Joyce gave me are family names, Hannah, John, Mary & William. However, I know they are common names.

In 1793 Robert had 150 acres on the Cedar Fork of Back Creek beginning at stake on south corner joining Joseph Reding & John Pricketts line.
His children were: Hannah; Odom; Mary; William; Abner; John; Jacob; Namon; Milly; Ann; and Robert.
I can't seem to find the marriage of his son, my direct ancestor Odom either. However, there is a marriage record for Hannah to Joseph Pool & others, so this might possibly show that they weren't Quakers. They are listed on the North Carolina Marriage records online.

Anyway, thank you all for writing and trying to help me.
