Subject: WATSON'S ANNALS of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania

Hello,
While checking out the Net tonight, I ran across an amazing page that
anyone interested in early PA history MUST check out.
As part of the US GenWeb Project, someone with the intials of EVC is
transcribing "WATSON'S ANNALS of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania,
Subtitled: A COLLECTION OF MEMOIRS, ANECDOTES, AND INCIDENTS of the
CITY AND ITS INHABITANTS and of the EARLIEST SETTLEMENTS OF THE INLAND
PART OF PENNSYLVANIA from
THE DAYS OF THE FOUNDERS", written from 1830-1850 and published in 1857.
I just started looking through it a little bit, and there is a LOT of
information there. You can find Watson's Annals at
"http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/philadelphia/watsontoc.htm".
I hope this helps in your research.
Take care.
