Bill,

There is a chapter about William Matlack and his descendants in Sketches of
the First Emigrant Settlers of Newton Township, Old Gloucester County, West
New Jersey by John Clement, p. 231-237. It mentions his son Joseph who
married Rebecca Haines. I suspect there is additional information available
at the Gloucester County Historical Society in Woodbury NJ, who have an
extensive genealogical library and will copy things for you. The people at
the library are VERY helpful. Check out their web site at:
