Does anyone know of any Allard family members who were captured by the
Indians? I have been searching for a John Moses Allard who is father of
Lucy Allard born Aug. 6, 1847 in Mooers Forks N.Y. He married a Charlotte
Tucker, whose ancestry I cannot find either.

Family tradition says that Lucy was half Indian through her father. This
could mean he was full Indian or perhaps raised with the Indians. Does
anyone know which tribe I should be looking for?

I've posted "Moses" Allard, which is the name he went by on Ma., Vt., N.Y.
and Eastern Township Quebec lists and no luck to date. This brick wall
doesn't even have a slight crack!!!!
