Would anyone know where I could write to obtain the baptismal or birth
certificate of my great grandfather John Mc Donald. He was born Dec. 12,
1838 and baptized on Feb 11, 1839 at the Church of England-Leeds in
Megantic Co., Quebec, Canada. His parents were James Mc Donald and Marie
Marcelline Lettre(Laidre-Loeder).
I would appreciate any help that you could give me. Thank you.

>Hello,

the early 1800's and then moved on to Reach Township and the Whitby area
circa 1834-54. Ebenezer and Rhoda (Stone) GROAT/GROWT had the following
boys: Miles, Bateman, Arnold, Orrin, and Jesse and daughters Mary Ann,
Debbie and Sophrina. They left Whitby and came to the US about 1854. I
would like to identify any siblings of Ebenezer and his parents. Ebenezer
was born in Canada about 1800 of English/Canadian parents. I have not been
able to find any record that shows when Ebenezer and Rhoda married but I
would guess it was 1830-32.
