In my emails to you of August 18 on the "Ontario" list, I provided
information advising that in 1922-23 the McCoy family lived at 495 Victoria
Avenue in Westmount and would have attended at St. Leon de Westmount church
or at St. Patrick's in downtown Montreal; and further that I had checked the
Drouin records and had not found the marriage of Gladys/Gladis McCoy in the
St. Leon records.

You replied that I had the wrong family as the one you were researching was
from Smith's Falls, Ontario.

As you know, Ancestry.ca does not cover the dates you have mentioned in
Ontario.

I'm looking for information on Gladys McCoy b. 1903 possibly Montreal or
Ontario to John Ernest McCoy and wife Marie Louise ? (known as Mamie).
Married Mr. ? Morin/Moren/Moran (spelling unknown) probably no earlier than
1923. She had a sister Ruth who entered the Sister of the Holy Names of
Jesus and Mary convent. Ruth died in 1938 aged 34 years.

If anyone has access to BDM's in Quebec I'd be grateful to find out who she
married, when, and if she had family. I believe they lived in the Westmount
area.

Also if there is a marriage for John Ernest McCoy to Marie Louise ? in
Quebec possibly 1902/03. No marriage is found in Ontario. Thanks for any
help offered. Catherine
