Yes, Dorothy -- It was announced he could be stepping aside
due to his bungling of a situation -- however, who knows,
MPs are often quite forgiving of their own.
That is on what I based my remark.

Without getting into a political wrangle, is this concerning his statement made in the House of Commons March 19 regarding the monitoring of detainees handed over to the Afghanistan goverment and for which he apologized? I haven't so far read anything else regarding this matter other than the Members of the Opposition were calling for his resignation.

In any event, I have his parliamentary email address and I will write him there. In order to make a decent impact, maybe you could outline some points that I (and possibly others on the list) could make should some of the listers decide to write their own MPs
