Bet it cannot be understood?
Way back when, we learned both English and FRench, the
latter in written form only.
My granddaughter attended French Immersion School in
Ontario - now has 19+1 languages -- the last language is
deciphering doctor's notes for the computer.
Her brother, studying to be a doctor, only has 10 languages,
had to attend special classes for Latin which he felt were
necessary -- only 26, doing his Ph.D. at McMaster and majoring
in cancer of the bone and multiple sclerosis.

When I lived in the Montreal area and smaller towns to the south we were
required to learn the French language both in speech and written forms. I
was a
required to graduate from high school. I went to an English speaking
school
and it was required from the time I entered the Quebec system in grade 5.
My earlier years were in Ontario system where it is not required. I had to
make up almost 5 years of learning the French language. We didn't
necessarily
speak the street version since we had the formal training in the language.
You should hear the French language being taught in the states. Very
funny............. to hear.
