Don't forget the bag balm. It works just as good on chapped hands as it
does not the poor old milk cows cut milk bags. Some of those weeds are
razor sharp and rubbing on wet skin. I remember my dad slathering bag balm
on the poor old girls -- they would stand on tip toe (hoofs) and the relax
as the balm soothed their cuts.
I remember the foot x rays. I loved to see my toes and wiggle them. I was
disappointed when they had to turn them off. That was the fun of getting
new shoes. That was some time in the mid 1950's.
My mother believed in stewed prunesYUUUUUKKK. She used the prunes or juice
to cure what ailed you. Even when you where not sick you had to get your
daily dose. To this day I can not stand prunes, dried, stewed, juiced bad,
bad.
Remember the small pox vacination? Some time between 1960 - 65 they were
discontinued.
