In Loving Remembrance
God, in His All-wise power, removed from us during October 1918, our beloved
sister, Anna Ponder.
Sister Ponder was a faithful and tender wife and mother. She was a true and
faithful member of God's church.
Sister Ponder, shortly after the death of her husband, left six little ones
entirely orphaned.
By her life, we knew her and we believe she is today, resting in the Savior's
love. She is awaiting with outstretched arms the coming of her little ones,
and we, the members of the Pine Level church, do resolve:
First, that we bow our hearts and wills to the All-wise will of God, for He
doeth as seemeth best.
Second, that the church, in the death of Sister Ponder, has lost a true and
faithful member.
Third, that we extend to the bereaved family our sympathy in the sad hour of
grief and pray that God will bless each loved one. May He be a father to the
fatherless and a mother to the motherless.
Fourth, that a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bereaved family and
also one to the county papers for publication, and leave a page in our minute
book to her memory.
