I have Derkacz/ Dyrkacz family who came from Tuczempy. There is some question whether they were Polish or Ukrainian, and there is an issue that there was a mass conversion from GC to RC in this area sometime in the late 1800's. I would like to know how you went about getting the GC records for mid 1800's. Please e-mail me at Thanks.
