I am searching for Gilbert Poirier's ancestors but they remain elusive
to me. One MN census has him listed as Joseph Gilbert Poirier.He was married
to Josephine LaBelle Feb 14,1846 in NY state. Moved to Odessa MN,took a
homestead there in 1883.
He probably was born in Quebec, so his parents most likely were born and
died in Quebec.
