Looking for the family of James W. Pitzer, born 15 Oct 1821 in western Virginia, died 2 Apr 1904 in Highland County, Ohio. He married Anna Elizabeth Shank 26 Dec 1844 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, (West) Virginia. James and Anna sold property in Berkeley County in 1853, and they moved in about 1855 to Brown County, Ohio and later to Highland County, Ohio. James and Anna had eleven children, the older of whom were born in Berkeley County:
