My name is Debbie Foreman LeBlanc. I am looking for someone who has any information on a Jean(John) Piters, Pitre or Petry, married to Carmelite Stelly, ca. 1838, in Lafayette, Louisiana. They had one son, Joseph Treville Petry, my gr-gr grandfather. The only thing I have on him is his marriage to Carmelite. Who were his parents, grandparents, where did he come from, when was he born, when did he die??? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
