Many thanks to everyone who has responded to the query.

The couple I'm researching is Mary Agnes Sullivan (my G aunt) and
Homer Nichols. Mary Agnes was born in Ireland in 1882, but none of the
records - marriage or death - give her birthdate accurately. Homer was
born in NC in 1892. A son was born in 1917 in Wilmington, DE.

Thanks for the Familysearch.org suggestion. I searched it, but the
marriage record for them isn't in the Philadelphia marriage index.

I will also check into the Elkton, MD records - Thanks.
