About Census. I have friend who ancestor was visiting a family up the road.
He was counted there.
He left there and when home and was counted there. The question by the
Census taker is who are in the houshold or living in the household at the
time the Census taker came.
So the man is living not dead in the household.
So he is list twice.

Didn't it take almost - or about - a year to complete the 1790 census? I
have one man enumerated twice in Philadelphia - easily proved to be the same
man because there was only one family with that name around and the family
numbers match. As I recall he was counted in the late summer/early fall and
then again about 6 months later.
