In today's mail, I found an obituary provided by the Free Library
(pretty good turnaround time since I mailed my request on March 3!).
This obit states that "the members of the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein
are invited to attend the funeral services"... Are any of you familiar
with this organization?

Also, the funeral was held at the home of the deceased. Was this the
normal practice in 1913 or the surrounding years? The obit continues to
state that the interment was private.
