Folks,

My mother, who was from the NJ/PA area in all things, excepting college,
attended a Fairmont College. I am assuming this was spelled correctly,
and should not read Fairmount.

Now I had been told that she attended college for a year, and then
quit (English Studies) to get married. I had assumed it was my father.
I now believe it may have been Roy Lambert Richardson, her first
husband (a short marriage!). She said, I thought, that she went to
school in Washington. I had assumed, or heard, D.C. Maybe state,
however?

I cannot find any listing except a Fairmont State College in West
Virginia. I do not believe that is the place. Can anyone help me
to find this college, so I can contact them, find the curricula and
other data, and see if Roy went there also? I know my dad did not
go to college (though he would have wowed them! He came up with
something like differential calculus on his own, though he only went
to the 8th grade or so).
