Hi, all,
I have been searching for any information concerning my great
grandfather, Malvern H. Wood. I did find him in various Phila. City
Directories but have yet to find him on a census.
I thought I was onto something when I found a listing for him in the FHC
marriage index and sent for a copy of the marriage license application.
But, my Malvern was born in 1866 and this Malvern was born in 1882.
Perhaps I have found a great uncle I never knew existed! Is anyone on
the list familiar with Malvern (the second) and Elizabeth Miller, his
wife listed in the license application? Elizabeth was born in
Bridgeton, NJ, on August 3, 1888. She and Malvern (the second) lived at
4144 Aspen St., West Philadelphia. He was a candy maker and she, a
candy worker. I have sent for Malvern's (the second) birth certificate
to see if he is related to our family. If anybody has a Malvern H. Wood
and Elizabeth Miller in their family tree, please let me know.
