The photographs were taken by Tom Updegraff and installed, most
artistically, into the homepage by Liese Updegrove Ade. One is of the
street that commemorates the original 13 settling families of
Germantown, by calling the street Philadelphia Street, just
as Philadelphia calls the area the Krefelders settled, German Town!

Vince, what does this mean?

There is no Philadelphia St. here.
Germantown wasn't named by Philadelphia, it was named by Pastorius.

Three marvelous photos of historical significance to Germantown,
Pennsylvania, have just been put on display on the homepage of
the Original 13 Settlers of Germantown.
