Bob,
The only way to get marriage license info more recent than 1915 is to
order it from the Marriage License Bureau.
Marriage records for only Phila., Oct. 1, 1885 to present: Phila.
Marriage License Bureau (in the Orphans' Court), City Hall, Rm. 413 (located
in the northeast quadrant of city hall), Phila., PA 19107. Phone (215)
686-2234. Whether or not you have the license number, the cost is $10 if you
go in person to request a copy, and $25 if the request is by mail (quite a
hefty service charge!) plus a SASE.
I don't know what their procedures are for obtaining a copy of a 1925
license, since the parties could still be alive. They may require written
consent from the parties, or proof that the parties are deceased.
