Subject: [PHILLY-ROOTS-L] The Neck

I am looking for info on a section of the city called "The Neck". I believe
it was at the South end of 22nd St. My mother talks about dirt roads leading
to the Neck after getting off the streetcar at the carbarn.

Anyone know the boundaries and where I could get some info to read about it?

My apologies to Gene Stackhouse for calling it a section, but I don't know if
it qualifies as a neighborhood!
