I'd always heard there had been a cemetery where Harrowgate Shopping Center
is, but didn't realize it was Belvue. Thanks for that information, Gene.

For anyone interested in Belvue, Helen Hutchison Woodroofe, in "A
Genealogist's Guide to Pennsylvania Records," indicates bodies were moved
to other cemeteries, mainly Philadelphia Memorial Park. Jewish persons
were moved to Haym Salomon Memorial Park. And, although Ms. Woodroofe
doesn't mention they arrived with less jewelry in dump trucks, I've heard
similar ugly stories about the "cemetery at Harrowgate." :(
