My mother's family name was Peto. The family was originally from the Shere/Peaslake, Surrey area of England. Her mother's name was Margaret Ida. Her family consisted of Mary (twin sister), Dorothy (father William, mother Harriet Manse) and 1/2 siblings, Frederick and Lillian (father William, mother Lydia (sister of Harriet). Margaret Ida married James Edgington and had 5 children - Margaret (my mother) born 1912, George born 1913, William, Bernard and Annie (died as a child). They all were born and lived in Shere, Surrey.
If you have information regarding William Peto and family it would be greatly appreciated.
