Funeral services for J. H. May, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Luther Hatten, on April 11, were held at Hickory Springs Church April 12,
at 1:00 o'clock P.M. with Rev. Fordham of Chatham in charge of the services.

Mr. May was survived by four sons, E. J. May of West Monroe; J. R. May of
Cotton Plant; W. M. May of West Monroe and H. B. May of Chapman; two
daughters, Mrs. Luther Hatten of West Monroe and Mrs. Alger of Ward 9.

Following services interment was made in the Hickory Springs Cemetery under
the direction of the Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.


Additional Comments:
NOTE: Joseph Harvey MAY was the husband of Caroline Lavenia "Carrie"
CHAPPELL and son of Joseph Monroe MAY & Lucinda PENDARVIS MAY.
