I don't know anything about the book, but I'm also researching the Hoover Family. I have copies of DAR records listing the children of Johann Conrad Huber and Anna Maria Lentz. I descend from his son John, who married Mary Ashenfelter. According to this same record citing Huber-Hoover History by Harry M. Hoover, states Conrad Huber arrived at Phil. PA by ship 27 Sept, 1752. He married Anna Maria Lintz/Lentz at York Co Pa., 25 Aug 1761. Copy of page 247 of Pennsylvania German Marriages compiled by Donna R. Irish, Johan Conrad and Anna Maria were married 25 Aug 1861 by Rev. Lucas Raus. They have her name spelled Bintz.
