Surname: Norris
-------------------------

It may have been Slate Hill. I received an email telling me that "there
is a Slate Hill Road near York/Cumberland Co., Pa. border. There is a Mennonite
Church & Cemetery on top of a hill where Slate Hill Road intersects with
Lisburn Road." As far as why your ancestor left York Co. to marry in Harford
Co., apparently the waiting period was shorter and no blood tests were
required. Some of my relatives did the same thing. Remember - Elkton, Maryland
was the "marrying capitol" for years.
