Looking for information on Harriet Parmenter (or Parmeter) Darrow, born
1813, died 1877 in Bingham, Leelanau County, MI. She was married to
Hiram Darrow, and had one known son, Samuel Charles Darrow, born 1849.
Her death record lists father as Reuben Parmeter of Truxton, NY. They
settled in Bingham, Michigan, in 1865, but their whereabouts before that
is uncertain. There were other Parmenters in the area at the time: Daniel
Parmenter and Matilda Davis, and sons Frank and Edgar. I have been
unable to prove a family link between Harriet and Daniel.
