Hi,
My name's Ruth Bowden and I'm looking for any information on my Grand-Mother's Father's Family. His name was
GEORGE PARMENTER and he was born on the 28th July 1836, in Stambourne,Essex, England,to JOHN PARMENTER (possibly from either Essex or Suffolk), mother's name unknown.
GEORGE married SUSAN GOODY at Tilbury on the 15th December 1865. They had at least twelve children (ten living).
The children's names were ELIZABETH, MATILDA, ANNA,ADA,JOHN,RHODA (my G'Mother),LILY,GEORGE,FRANK and WILFRID. Some time after Wilfrid was born in 1888 GEORGE was asked to leave (alcohol related reasons) and never spoken of again.
I would like to find out what happened to him ( All that my Mother could tell me was that she had heard that he had died in the 1920's, but that was only whispers). I would also like to find out where his Parents came from, who his Mother was and if there were any siblings. Do hope some one out there can help.
