Dr. Marie J. Parks does seem to be a mystery woman so far--haven't been able to locate her in any census either. Can you contact me directly and we can discuss what the content of the letters might reveal? As a Parks researcher and officer of the Parke Society, I'd be very interested in learning more about her and her family, and if we can learn a bit more perhaps we can trace some descendants.

Am I correct in assuming that Parks was Marie's married name and that daughter Jennie was in fact Jennie Parks?

Do the letters you have give any indication of the relationship between the Parks family and your great grandfather Edward Gordon?
