Hello list - greetings from Belfast, Ireland

Only just joined and have not yet done any research on my
father's line. Henry is now in his 80s and is from a large (12
or so siblings) Parkes family from Birmingham/West Bromwich in
the midlands of England. I know only one cousin, but there must
be many more.

I am looking forward to doing the research as I understand that
there is census data from the 1800s available for England. (In
Ireland the only complete census is that of 1901)

I will keep the list informed of any progress that I make, and
may ask for help on occasions.
