Subject: [PAMONROE-L] Wall Plaque--Stroudsburg
Date: Sat, 18 Sep 1999 14:34:29 EDT

I heard recently of a Wall Plaque that was mounted on a building in
the vicinity of the old Wycoff's and
a nearby Theatre on the main street thru Stroudsburg. It was about
Indians that were killed where they
were camped along the Brodhead Creek, only survivors being a few
infants.. The lady who told me about this
said she had showed it to her sons years ago.. Now, no one seems to
know anything about it.
Is there anyone in that area that has any information on it.. Who has
the plaque now, or maybe a picture
of it.. Thanks for any and all help...
