I somehow missed this obituary I think. I don't know who she is, though.
Can this be the wife of Michael Parkerson, son of Jimmie and Hattie Switzer
Parkerson?

Lona Estelle Parkerson

Services for Lona Estelle Parkerson, 69, of Greenwood, who died of heart
failure Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, will be at
11 a.m. Thursday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.

Born in Carroll County, Mrs. Parkerson lived in the Leflore and Carroll
county area all her life. She was a member of Christ Baptist Church in
Greenwood. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Parkerson of Greenwood; a daughter,
Sara Ann Richardson of Greenwood; two step-daughters, Margaret Ann Pierce
of Paris, Tenn., and Debbie Rose of Grenada; a son, Billy W. Turner of
Carrollton; one step-son, Mike Parkerson Jr. of Franklin, Tenn.; three
brothers, Jessie Carroll of Greenwood, T.C. Carroll of Teoc and Louis
Carroll of Michigan; two sisters, Gladys Vining of Philipp and Mary Ruth
Hill of Grenada;11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.

The Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows East Cemetery in Greenwood.
