Thanks, John. I do make mistakes! Pace Pix can always be accessed by going
to the Pace Network main page, which most Paces probably have bookmarked,
scrolling down to PacePix and clicking, then scrolling the page to find what
you want.

Yes, length is a problem, but when you use a free service like Rootsweb's
freepages, you have to put up with it. You only get a short one if you are
willing to pay for your own site.

Here's an interesting situation -- Pace-Pace marriages in which one Pace is
Italian and the other English descent. This ws sent by Jeff Pace of
Columbus, GA. You can see pictures of his ancestor Lewis Cullen Pace and
some descendents at

By the way, family tradition has it that Emma Pace Pace was not descended
from the same line as Lewis and John Cullen but rather was part of an
ITALIAN family of Paces which settled in Franklin County and which had two
sons and a daughter. Emma was the daughter. Emma died in a fire shortly
after this family photo was taken. John Cullen Pace remarried to Minnie
Willis. Supposedly, Emma's brothers both married Paces too. I have seen
pictures of them in a an old family reunion photo which must have had fifty
people or so in it. Unfortunately I don't know who has the picture, but I
will try to track it down. I would love to know more about Emma's side of
the family, as well as any information that anyone can provide about the
