This is my 2nd try on this--the first one didn't make it to the list for
some reason.
Here is full information on this useful book about the NC placenames. It
may be available on amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. I'll bet there is
a later edition. Very valuable for old rivers, streams, old towns, etc.
It works well with the DeLorme maps of North Carolina, which tend to give
all the little creeks and streams in modern day NC.
