I don't expect to ever get another picture as old as this one. It is a
painting of Jean Pace Nunn, painted about 1799.
She is the daughter of Joseph Pace Jr. and Mary Ann Page.
She is the Granddaughter of Joseph Pace and Ann Basford.

This lady was born before the American Revolution and grew up during the
war, the Articles of Confederation period, and the administration of George
Washington. What stories she could tell!
