I am researching siblings of my Ggrandfather William Matthew Pace. Their
father Alcey Caston Pace evidently died between 1855-9. His son, Hardy C.
Pace appears in the following census for 1860 in Cheatham Co, TN. Does
anyone on the list have any idea who this apparently widowed M. H. Pace, head
of household might be and any apparent relationship with Hardy Pace. Hardy's
uncle William Hardy Pace also appears in Cheatham Co, TN in 1860 census in
the next district. Any help appreciated. Gary Pace
