Gordon,
Somewhere earlier someone was wanting to know about an Octavia PACE. I
found this one by accident in Franklin County, AL (Hovater Cemetery).
Octavia Pace Hovater, b. Apr. 22, 1841, d. Apr. 28, 1923. She was married to
Calvin Luther Hovater. Their children were Jesse Louis, William Clauborne,
Susan L., Calvin Dallas, Sidney D., Evey, Andy C., Albert Ned, Clifton Coley,
James Arthur, and Frank Little.
I am a new member of the Pace Society and Octavia PACE may fit into my
family somewhere also. Gideon Pace was my great-great grandfather. He was
born in 1824 and married Elizabeth Davenport born in 1823. John Jackson Pace
was my great grandfather born in 1846 and married Volaria Roden. John Vinson
Pace was my grandfather born in 1882 and married Erminnie Mae Parker.
