Dear Ms. Brown,
We weren't able to get an outing planned, so I can't tell you when someone might manage to assist you with this request. We're a very small group of loosely connected Mount Moriah enthusiasts and we're not actually situated to respond to the many inquiries that we get. We wish that we were, as we appreciate the interest that so many people have in getting information about and pictures of their loved ones' graves. But the fact is that we have full-time jobs, or we live an hour or two from Mount Moriah, and the place is a jungle of overgrowth and confusion, and finding long-lost graves can take hours, if not days. I don't know who Kate is, but on behalf of the informal Friends of Mt. Moriah group I can say that we'll keep your request in our hands and if and when conditions permit we will see what we can do. But don't expect us to be able to do this soon.
Sincerely,
Beth

John and anyone who will be going on this outing. I live in Florida and
can not go . When the talk of meeting and going on a trip to the cemetery
began I sent a request to Kate for someone to please check on my family
there. I didn't get a response from anyone so I will give the info again
and hope someone will be a kind soul and get me some information and perhaps
a snapshot or so.
I have some family there at Mt. Moriah.
James Stevenson b. 23 Sept 1872 d. 1 Jan 1939
He is in Section 153, Lot 233 east grave line what ever that
means.
With him should be Theadocia McClaren Stevenson b 25 April 1874, d. 21 March
1952
and maybe other family members. Richard Stevenson b 1865 (?) & wife Annie
Robert Stevenson wife
Isabell
Jennie Stevenson Nixon
her daughter is there
somewhere too and maybe in the
same area Josephine
Nixon Brightbill
her son Albert Nixon
may be there as well.
I understand there may be even other Stevenson's there too.
Thank you. Please someone respond so I know that this didn't just go into
the wild blue yonder.
