Can anyone tell me how to get information on the moving of Macpelah Cemetery to "Graceland,Northern Mount Mariah" in 1894/95?
I have the death date of a lady, Sarah Pinto, who died in 1848, was buried in Macpelah. And then I learned that Macpelah was sold and bodies moved.
I would like to find the exact location of this lady's grave [section and lot numbers] and then find if her husband , John Pinto,is buried with her. He died in 1836 and I have not been able to locate his burial.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. The office at Mount mariah directs me to the GSP who say they have not finished their indexing of the Mount Mariah film.
