THE WOODLANDS COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DAY

Saturday, November 5 from 10 AM to 2 PM

The Woodlands Cemetery (1840) and Hamilton Mansion (1792) Welcomes
Workers For Community Clean-Up Day

Come assist the Cemetery Company in pruning bushes and ivy around
critical grave monuments, picking up branches and plastic flowers, and
raking leaves and trash along the fence and Paul Philippe Cret Gates at
Woodland Avenue. Watch our deer, rabbits, and birds as you work. Help
conserve stone memorials of many of Philadelphia's most notable citizens
at this National Historic Landmark.

Some gloves, pruning shears, and rakes will be provided, but if you can
bring your own, we will appreciate it.

Take the right hand road after the main gate at 40th and Woodland and
walk to the Carriage House for a work assignment and map of the
cemetery. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Tour the Historic
Hamilton Mansion at Noon.

RSVP if you can help or contact us with questions at
<about:blank> or 215-386-2181.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON TO ALL WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HELPING WITH
THE UPKEEP OF THIS WONDERFUL, HISTORIC PROPERTY.
