Hats off to Elaine for locating Percifer HOOK!

Elaine, I think you gave me a good hint when you sent me the 1840 Census in
which Percifer HOOK is enumerated:

Percifor Hook 1840 Federal Censis Index; Delaware, New Castle County, City
of Wilmington; Roll 704_33, Image 339, Page 170; Images Online 33 of
104 [Ancestry.com listed the wrong image]

1 M of 15 and under 20

I played around in the Genealogy.com censuses when I got home from work,
and your preliminary data looks to be validated by my find of 1870:

So, Percifor appears to have died somewhere between 1870 and 1880. I think
we definitely need to see the DE census for 1850 and 60. Our Abraham is
