Deed. William ROBINSON, now of Augusta cnty, VA, but late of Chester cnty,
PA, yeoman, and Isabella his wife for £80 to James GALT of said Chester
cnty, yeoman, 100 acres, part of a tract called Kennedy's Adventure. By
patent dated 12 Aug 1720 Lord BALTIMORE conveyed a tract of 500 acres in
Cecil cnty called Kennedy's Adventure to Hugh KENNEDY of Ann Arundel cnty
(recorded in patent office in Lib, C E W, folios 269-270.) Henry BENNET and
his wife Margaret and Elizabeth KENNEDY, dtrs of the deceased Hugh KENNEDY,
conveyed the land to Henry BAKER by deed dated 23 Oct 1740 and recorded 20
Mar 1741/2 in Lib E J No 3, folio 205. Henry BAKER and his wife Elizabeth
conveyed 100 acres of the land to James CRUMLEY by deed dated 03 Feb 1742,
recorded 10 Mar 1742 in Lib W K No 9, folios 178-180. James CRUMLEY and his
wife Catharine conveyed the land to the said William ROBINSON by deed dated
25 Aug last past. William ROBINSON and his wife Isabella appoint John SMITH
and his wife Margaret to be their attorney to ackn this deed. Made 09 Dec
1752. Wit: Neal McCASKEY, Thomas McCUISTION. Ackn: in Cecil cnty 24 Apr
1753 by Neal McCASKEY, John SMITH and his wife Margaret SMITH before JPs
Nich'o HYLAND, Nath'n BAKER. GALT paid 4 shillings alienation fine 06 Jun
1753 to Matt's BORDLEY. Rec: same day.
