Can't help you with the exact location of "Mount Hope". However, the Genealogical Society of Cecil County publication Land Patents of Cecil County, Maryland lists two tracts called "Mount Hope". The one that I'm sure you want was surveyed for Mathias Vanbibber under Certificate 456A, Liber FF#7, folio 77. Recorded Patent 456A, Libre FF#7 folio77 and Liber PL#4 folio 140 -dated 1716. The records are located in the Maryland State Archives. Don't know if this will help you or not since you are looking for the
actual location.
