How about an Owens family in Clay Co. Indiana, in the 1850 census? Jacob (1803-85) &
Ellender/Nellie (McNeal)(1806-62) Owens moved there from Ohio (m. 1825 Montgomery Co) and
had 13 children. My ancestor Margaret was #12 b. 1848. Soon thereafter (1851) moved to
Logan, IA. A brother Elias Owens remained in Indiana. Looking for father of Jacob &
Elias poss. from PA and Wales whose widowed wife Lydia (Green) Owens m. 1810 John Wilson
of VA and they located next door in Indiana...both d. 1853.
