My dictionary has nervenleiden defined as "nervous complaint". I don't
have a clue what that could be much less how it could kill you.

Cause of death for Vohlke Juergens Wallman Schuster who died 6 Jun 1916
in Gage County, Nebr. was listed as nervenleiden. I've found nervenfieber
is typhus and leiden is disease but I can't find a precise meaning for
the word. Anybody familiar with the word?
