Doreen: Thanks also for your reply and information. Finding the birth has been partially solved for Rosina. I have received today from another that Rosina was born in OHIO,  Now that will be a challenge. Thanks again to you and Susan

?Hoping for some help to locate a marriage for my grt grandparents? John Friederich and Sussanah Baltzer? 1860/61? The family in the Census 1871 were in the? Village of Waterloo.? Were they married in Waterloo before 1871, if so where?? Any help appreciated.

Family Search shows the family of John Frederick and Susannah Baltzer living in Hespler, Ontario and had 10 children.  Their eldest child, Rosina, was born in January 1861.  Ontario Government did not require such records to be filed with the Province prior to 1869, so the marriage does not show up on early Ontario Marriages.... at least that I could find.

John died on February 18, 1884 at age 49 years, 7 months and 19 days and his occupation was given as Town Constable.
